Well where was i, ow yes it's the 27th of August and the morning after the first nite in Madrid and we were woken from the blinding sun entering from the balcony! What a wake up call! it was sunday morning and we arranged to meet the girls at 11am at the Main post office in Madrid, and people what a building, its more like a palace, take a look for yourself!... the buildings in Madrid are breath taking, we couldn't believe what we were seeing, nothing like me and ryan are used to. We then walked down the city streets towards El Prado, on the advise of Ana's mum, as it is free to enter on sundays, ow forgot to mention what it is, its an amazing art gallery, holding some of the worlds greatest pieces of art! Not mine or Ryans thing, however, we were speechless! A place i'm glad to say i have visited! A must see place! After that we then went to the famous park named Retiro, for a walk, words can't describe, a beautiful park! We then were invited back to Anas home for lunch which her brothers, Juan and Paulo made, one of the best meals we ate in Madrid!!! Then we spent a few hours by the pool taking in the sun and talking about the years memories, we had many laughs and slightly tanned our English skin! lol! We then returned to the Hostal to change and we went out again for a few more cervezas... maybe for more than two lol... a lot more lol! And that concludes day 2 of our trip, and what a day so many memories and laughs!
