Day 4: Half way through!

Early, well.. quite early, we decided to get up earlier than usual to enable us to have breakfast before visiting the palace again. As asual we got ready and then made the journey to a famous cafe know for its deliouse churros con chocolate! But as our luck went, it wasn't open for breakfast only in the afternoons and evenings, well we weren't going to wait, as typical British blokes, we needed food in our stomachs to soak up the alchol swimming around! lol! so Cafe y Te it was a chain of cafes known in spain. We had mini sandwichs, i mean mini, maybe just three mouth fulls, but very good! (Ryan remember redecorating a certain room in there? lol). We then paid and walked to the palace, seeing it the second time doesn't lessen its effect, still the same impact as seeing it for the first time! We had decided to take the tour round the royal apartments, and what a good choice, for only 9 euros, we had a 90 minute tour with an English speaking guide, (But Ana y Sara, not as good as you!) However, she was a lovely lass to look at! lol! Before the tour began we had around 30 minutes to walk around parts of the palace, such as the Royal pharmacy, armaries and court yard. All magnifisant! It was then time for the tour we met at the arranged place and placed our blue stickers on to tell the world that we were 'girres' lol...as if they couldn't tell anyway! lol! We were off, the royal rooms were amazing, very interesting, and i'm glad we went! Now we were hungry, it was early afternoon and we were peckish, so back the the churros place, and you no what...it was open, our luck had changed lol! We sampled them and boy was it worth waiting for! we had both decided to try a siesta, as we weren't going to meet the girls till around 6pm, we thought we had time, however, thinks changed and we ended up meeting Ana earlier, as Sara was enjoyig the last of the sales, So this left us with just under an hour, so back to the hostal...Siesta time, 15 minutes, if it works for Ana it must work for us, on the way to the hostal i dropped off to a pharmacy to get some cream for the dry spot on my face as a result of my two hour bleed lol! We think somewhere in the translation and the use of my spanish, we got mixed up lol, i walked out of the pharmacy with a cream for herpes! well as one can imagen, i wasn't very sure what to think, and i bet you can predict ryans reaction when i told him... Must have been funiest thing i had said since...(Beckyjacket was a bulldog!) lol.. We laughed and i placed this cream on my face, praying it was ok!!! Half an hour left till meetig Ana at Retiro, ZZZ...ZZZ...ZZZ, Sleep well i woudn't call it sleep just a chill out! Then off to Ana, rushing, as we were running a little late, but as things turned out it wouldn't have mattered if we had got there on time, as we were at the wrong enterance! lol! Once we had met Ana in the centre of the park, we walked aroud the beautiful park and looked for a good place to eat the boccadillos Anas mum had made! (Not dry.. hey Ryan!) We chilled out under the clear sky and warm sun, then went to meet the rest of the girls, Sara, Belin and Lori, but while on route to meeting the girls we went to the national geographic centre, another facsinating place. We met the girls, and had a few more laughs, and the classic line of the holiday was 'Donde puedo comprar gas butano?' Ryan was a hit, the girls were laughing! Well done mate, You made them smile!!! We then walked round some nice shops, then left the girls, they had sent us on the metro, with only a vaige idea of where we were going, only joking it was easy, i was hoping to get lost to make an adventure out of it, but hey, theres still time! lol We followed the same routine, got changed and went back out, enjoyed a great meal and a few more cervezas!!! Ryan had said lets make a nite of it, only here for short time, and folks, we did, we entered many clubs and in one, el pirate (hope thats the name Ana) we drank them out of malibu, two bottles to be precise! lol Danced...drank...danced...drank...heard bell ring thought was last orders...drank more....heard bell again...drank...danced...bell yet again...now how long does last orders go for in spain me and Ryan were asking each other, turns out that the bar man was just ringing the bell to the music... what a dumb pair of english girres! We stayed past opening hours and waited to meet the barman in a bar he had said would still be open, and folks.. was busy mega busy, now we're talking 3am mayby, however, as usual fashion the bolosh was weakening and so returned to the hostal, Ryan stayed and made friends with some locals and returned shortly, (Chinese guys ryan, Remember for preston! lol) i decided to be sick.. nice thought i know...but it enabled me to wake up easily next morning! lol Quoting again a Yorkshire dude i remember bumping into in Madrid 'Cracking nite!' Stay tuned people the best is yet to come!
