Day 3: Limpizia aspiring day! lol

Third morning waking upto the shining sun and the chat me and ryan held every morning when waking up, who's going into the shower first?! as the one who didn't go first could stay in their most comfortable bed ever! lol We had decided to make the most of what little time we had there, so we got up and arranged to meet the best tour guides in Madrid, Ana y Sara!!! Good job girls! Just hope the bill isn't going to bankrupt us! lol. Today we didn't have time to have breakfast and for us it was difficult, as the only thing we had eaten the nite before was a sandwich, which ryan thought was dry! A comon theme for ryan! lol! The days events were to visit the Royal Palace of Madrid, an amazing site! When walking upto the palace you begin to relise the sheer size of the place! Another thing ryan and me were amazed at was how close you could go to the palace... and i mean close...the front door...in fact! However, you still got the feeling of security but more relaxed! We then strolled down to the gardens a joining the palace, well maintained by ryans friends the creme de la creme of limpizia's! lol. As ryan said, what more can an aspiring limpizia need to want to work their way up the heirachy of limpizias, than the palace gardens! lol! We decided to enter the palace the next day as we yet again were invited to another amazing lunch provided by Ana's family! If it was a restaurant anas house, it would hold five stars!!! So before returnung to Anas on the number 53 Bus, we entered the Cathedral opposite the palace, ana amazing building! Yet again speechless! Thankx to brilliant gaget, my fantastic camara we managed to take some awesome pictures! lol! Also we visited the underground chappel, the one used more often, and theres not exception, still the most breath taking architecture. Ana, sara, ryan and me then walked along the road next to the Palace and cathedral to a nice, quite bar for some much needed refreshments, we sat back and took in the views, words can't describe! We chatted and laughted, and we also managed to get ourselfs invited into a inyerview with a famous spanish actress, so if anyone is watching an interview in the next few days and you see two good looking and girls and two girres next to them, thats US!!! lol! On route back to the bus stop, we passed the Plaza Mayor and entered the tourist information, very helpful! Ana gave us some tips on where to eat and pointed out a famous bar known for its calarmare boccadillos! Ryan wasn't impressed! lol! Arrived at Anas home around 3pm, by now me and ryan were ready to eat our hands off, however, we didn't want to appear impolite by asking what we were eating, so we waited, and it was well worth it, a brilliant lunch, but we knew it would be! After a good chat with Anas parants and brothers, they invited us to relax and chill out on the sofas, enjoy a coffee and desert, this way of living, is very appealing! We then watched a few episodes of Perdidos (Lost) a series Ana had fallen in love with during the summer, and thankx to her, me now! lol One wouldn't think we could manage to do any more in one day, but we did, we returned to the hostal in the puerto del sol to change, and arranged to meet the girls to have dinner, they took us to a place called VIPS's a favouritr eating place for the girls. A cracking place, great food and they pour great cervezas! lol! We shared many laughs and thoughly enjoyed the evening! To qoute a Yorkshire man, 'it was great to see the girls in their world, their place, their country'!. It came time to say good nite to the girls, always a dampner on the nite! However, it wasn't the end for ryan and the bolosh, a few more cervezas and chat! Thankx to the girls and Ryan, we returned to the Hostal, relaxed and chilled! A perfect end to a perfect day!!! You know the rules by now...stay tuned for he next installment! lol!
