On saturday the 26th August 2006 The Bolosh and Kavanagherster visited Madrid where our two favourite Spanish Amigas were, Sara and Ana! hey girls! We met at John Lennon airport in Liverpool at 10.30am and thats when the adventure began! we said good bye to our parents and checked in! All went well! we were both feeling excited and nervious, even though we acted like flying was a piece of cake, lets just say as the time got nearer to board the plane we knew about it! lol! After having been stripped and xrayed and probed lol going through security we entered the departure lounge. We then bought about four books on madrid and one phrase book for Ryan, which became his bible for the entire trip! lol! We boarded the plane which i think should have been retired to a museum! not the most modern plane! lol! That was it no escape or going back! we were on our way, and to help make the journey smoother we ordered two JD'S and one coke! I must say they certainly did the job! Ryan practised his espanol, very impressive i must say dude! Then we landed, we were finally there after months of planning and msn chats hey man! You know what i mean! lol! we collected our luggage and then we started to get excited to see the girls, we were hoping that Ana had gotten herself and sara to the airport in one piece! (Only joking Ana you are a fantastic driver! Its just the rest of the drivers in Madrid! lol) We then met Anas parents who within minutes had offered us two Mahous! Now thats hospitality! lol we sampled some postres that sara has brought from Austurias the area of Spain she is from! Muy Bueno sara! Then we embarked on the bus trip to the Hostal Victoria in the Puerto del Sol! The centre of Madrid and we were staying there! The room was fantastic, modern and views were brilliant! Then me and ryan went for walkies around the city, ending up in the Plaza Mayor, we ate some typical spanish dishes and drank well! lol Dos cervezas por favor! a well used phrase during the trip! lol. we then returned to change for a fantastic nite out with Ana's friends from uni, however, when getting ready i cut myself bleeding! Two hours later it still was! i visisted bars just for tissue! lol we said hello to Anas friends and walked round to some bars and clubs, we had many offers to go to different bars, i found the free drink when you entered a very nice custome, you could go out for free! however, ryan and mine's liver was used to a lot more alchol than they were offering! lol! We enjoyed many laughs and dances! Time came for the girls to leave, and on the way to the bus stop i cracked my knee cap! second injury of the nite, but not the last! lol! we said good nite and left the girls! However this wasn't the end for ryan and me, staright back out and what a nite, a few more beers and then the highlight of the nite, we entered a club and enjoyed a few more beers! then it started, dancers, girls, it all lights up, we later found out that, we had been in Joy, the most exclusive club in Madrid! And the bolosh and kavanaghster had been and for free! lol lucky Bastards! However, i did think paying 26 euros for two JD'S was much and plus the 10 euro tip lol! Cracking nite! a nite to remember!
